Am I in crisis?

Sometimes it can be hard to know when the crisis is happening until it has become, well, overwhelming.  If you ever find yourself wondering "am I in crisis?", it is a good time to reach out. In Canada and the US, we have 988 - a suicide crisis help line that is accessible via phone call or text. The people on the other end are there for you no matter what you are bringing to the call. This call is free, and connects you with a 988 responder who will listen, engage, and support you.

Building a Safety Plan

Whether you are in crisis or closer to your baseline, a suicide safety plan is both helpful and essential. A safety plan is best done with a mental health professional, however, that doesn't mean it's inaccessible. If you have a mental health professional, go over a safety plan with them. If you have a safe enough person in your life, they will be able to help you fill it out and find a place to keep it. If you need to lake a safety plan now, click the link below and save it as wallpaper on your phone to remind you there are steps you can take that help keep life as an option
